Judicial Protection AIO final assignment results and USOS hours

dr Łukasz Stępkowski - 20 Styczeń, 2019 - 14:32

This is to inform all concerned persons that grades from the assignment taken on 16th of January were entered into USOS.

Most of you passed the assignment.
There shall be extra hours tomorrow (Monday the 21st) from 10 to 11 AM for anyone who wished to review his/her test.

There was a change in grading to your benefit, in that:

1) all persons got an extra point due to question 16 not having been printed, for some reasons due to an apparent printer failure;

2) persons who marked "A" under question 21 were given a point despite "B" (ie 'no') being the correct answer;
This is because the question referred to the issue that there must be illegality for the EU to be liable, and non-illegal acts and activities of the Union are not subject to liability (eg the FIAMM case and later case-law).
However, this question may theoretically have been understood as referring to "legal acts" under 288 TFEU, for which there is, obviously, a liability (so, a 'yes' under A). Hence, some of you who marked A did receive a point.

For those that did not pass the assignment, and any persons who would want to improve their grades, there will be a resit on Friday the 25th, 12-13 hrs. A room therefor will be posted later.

Grades from the resit will derogate any grades from the first term and will be final.

The resit will be written (another ABCD 30 question test, only one answer correct) due that the amount of persons who did not pass is larger than expected.
